Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 September 2026

This ADHD Mommy (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit thisadhdmommy.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Who we are

Our website address is: https://thisadhdmommy.com. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, you can reach us at hello@thisadhdmommy.com.

What information we collect

Information you give us directly:

  • Email sign-ups — when you subscribe to receive our free ADHD Mom Daily Reset or our newsletter, we collect your first name (and/or last name) and email address through our sign-up form.
  • Purchases — when you buy a product, checkout and payment are handled by our third-party store provider, Payhip. We do not process or store your payment card details ourselves.
  • Comments and contact — if you leave a comment or email us, we collect the information you choose to share.

Information collected automatically:

When you visit the site, we (and our service providers) may automatically collect your IP address, browser type and version, device information, pages viewed, and referring website, through cookies and similar technologies.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • send you the free resources, emails and updates you’ve signed up for;
  • deliver and support any products you purchase;
  • respond to your comments and questions;
  • understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it;
  • keep the site secure and prevent spam or abuse; and
  • comply with our legal obligations.

We will only send you marketing emails if you’ve opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

We also use cookies and similar technologies for analytics (see below). You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Email marketing

When you subscribe, your name and email address are stored and managed through our forms plugin (Fluent Forms) and our email marketing provider (such as Brevo), so we can send you the content you requested. These providers process your data on our behalf under their own privacy terms. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.

Payments and purchases

Our digital products are sold and delivered through Payhip. When you make a purchase, Payhip collects and processes the information needed to complete your order (such as your name, email and payment details) under its own privacy policy. We receive confirmation of your purchase and your email address, but we never see or store your full payment card details.

Analytics

We use analytics tools (such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console) to understand how visitors find and use our site. These tools collect information such as pages visited, time on site, approximate location, and device and browser type, usually in aggregated or anonymized form, to help us improve our content.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the trusted service providers that help us run the site, including our hosting provider (Hostinger), our forms and email tools (Fluent Forms, Brevo), our store provider (Payhip), and our analytics providers (Google) — and only as needed to provide these services.

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

We may also disclose information if required to do so by law.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

If you subscribe to our emails, we keep your details until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, restrict or object to our use of your data. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@thisadhdmommy.com.

Children’s privacy

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Data security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International data transfers

We and our service providers may store and process your information in countries other than your own. Where we do, we take steps to ensure your data is treated in line with this policy.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
